Hello folks…Easter was grand! Of course, Easter takes care of itself because of the reason…nothing is more pivotal & exciting than the resurrection of Jesus. If you don’t get moved and inspired by Easter you are missing the point of your faith. I’m sure you each have no trouble on that point.
How many of you realize that the STL Cardinal’s home opener is on Monday, April 11th? In honor and in support of that, lets make Sunday, April 10th “STL Cardinals Day at VCC”. Wear your Cardinals clothes…hats, shirts, jerseys. Let’s have fun with this as we support the Birds as they start their 2016 season.
We also still have spots open for both road cleanup and Church property mowing. Please either sign up at the building or email / message me about your willingness to help.
It’s a known reality that the Sunday after Easter can be one of the lowest attendances at Churches. Let’s not allow that to be true at VCC. Let’s be a “NSI” Church. That acrostic stands for “Never Stop Inviting”. Always make an effort to get someone new to VCC.
